Per Wikipedia.org, Post Falls, Idaho got its name from Frederick Post, a German immigrant who constructed a lumber mill along the Spokane River in 1871.  The city covers about 14 square miles with a population of approximately 30,000.  The Spokane River runs through the town and Coeur d'Alene Lake can be accessed from the River in Post Falls.  The area has a variety of home locations and types, such as,  water-front, view, golf course, acreage, and city homes.
